2024 Homecoming and Annual General Meeting (AGM)
What: Homecoming vs. Texas Tech & Iowa Xi’s AGM
There will be an undergraduate report and an all-alumni meeting before the game.
When: November 2nd, 2023, Time = 2:30
Kickoff has been announced for 2:30pm so the schedule for the day will be as follows:
8:30am to 9:30am – The house will be open and undergrads will provide a tour of the house for alumni and guests.
9:30am to 10:30am – Alumni General Meeting, elections will be held so please plan to attend!
10:30am to 12:30pm – Lunch will be served by Hickory Park. Beverages will be provided but feel free to bring your own as well
2:30pm – Kickoff!
Where: Chapter House
Since we had such a great turnout and received a lot of positive feedback from both alumni and undergrads last year, we decided to host the Phi Kap tailgate at the chapter house again this year!
Food from Hickory Park will be catered and select beverages will be available.
The undergrads will have the parking lot cleared on game day and alumni are welcome to park there for any home game for free.

We are asking for all alumni to respond to the survey below to express your interest in attending the tailgate event so we can plan food and beverage accordingly. Even if you aren’t planning on attending, please respond to the survey as we have included multiple questions and would like to confirm you received this e-mail.
Friday Dinner: The Range in Urbandale on Friday night from 6-9pm!
Elections: It is also the time of year where we will need to reelect positions and appoint members for those that are coming up due for renewal. If you are interested in serving on the board for one of the three entities (Alumni, Foundation, or Building) or on one of the several committees (Communications, Development, History, etc.) please let us know on the survey as well.

Homecoming Info
Homecoming 2023 will be November 05. We hope to see you there.
- The homecoming tailgate will be held at the Fraternity house this year.
- There will NOT be a tent.
- Alumni, undergraduates, and guests are welcome.
- The undergraduates will clear the parking lot at the Chapter House on game day.
- Alumni are welcome to park there for any home game for free.
- The alumni chapter has game tickets for sale. They are $70/seat. Please contact Matt Quinn, if interested.
Schedule
9:30 – Begin arriving at the chapter house
11:00 – Annual General Meeting
12:30 – Food catered by Hickory Park.
2:00 – Hang around the house or leave for other tailgates.
5:00 – Leave for the game.
6:00 – Kickoff

General Information
- Alumni may attend in person or virtually. We will provide you with the video conferencing link in an email with the start time the week before the AGM.
- Coffee and donuts will be available.
- In accordance with our Bylaws, we are required to hold an AGM once a year. Our AGM is held at Homecoming.
- We are required to have 20 members attend the AGM, in person or virtually, to constitute a quorum.

2023 Golf Outing
August 19, 2023
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding the Phi Kap open on August 19th this year. We plan to follow the same format as previous years, a 9:00 A.M. shotgun start, and a BBQ at Veenker following the round.
We will be selling $10 mulligan tickets. Each pairing is allowed a maximum of 4.
Raffle tickets will be $10 as well, with prizes including ISU apparel, golf gear, and much more.
Additionally, if you are interested in being a corporate sponsor for the event, please reach out. We will place signs for businesses that donate at each hole, or you can sponsor raffle prizes and food.
PRICING:
The ticket prices are tiered like last year and are as follows:
Undergrad – $25
Alumni 2019-2023 – $70
Alumni 2014-2018 – $80
Alumni 2007-2013 – $90
Alumni 2006 or earlier – $100
DISCOUNT:
There is a $10 early bird discount in effect until July 4th.
PAYMENT:
We will be taking payment in the form of cash, check or credit card at the clubhouse this year.
DONATING A ROUND:
If you would like to purchase a round for an undergraduate, just add as many undergrad tickets as you want to your checkout.
FAC:
We will be getting together somewhere in Des Moines the Friday before the outing. Details to come.
